HELLO!

Sophia Kim is a New York City based artist and designer with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from Parsons, The New School for Design. Considering herself more of a multidisciplinary artist, Sophia intends to find the balance between textiles and fine arts while incorporating other graphic design elements. With a strong background in fine arts, Sophia explores the engagement between storytelling and knit-based designs allowing this design language to transcend within her digital design and entrepreneurial practices. With prior experience at brands such as, Alice and Olivia and Oscar de la Renta, Sophia is highly aware of the demands within the design industry and is determined in furthering her creative practices in this design realm.
